What Your Glasses Can Do

Your Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses have a camera and AI built in. You control everything by voice.

You can ask them to describe what's in front of you. Just say Hey Meta, what do you see, and the AI will tell you about the scene, the objects, the people, and the layout.

You can read text. Point your head at a menu, a sign, a letter, a medicine label, and say Hey Meta, read this. The AI reads it aloud.

You can identify objects. Say Hey Meta, what is this, while facing a product, a piece of fruit, a tool. It will tell you what it sees.

You can identify colors. Say Hey Meta, what color is this shirt, and it tells you. Useful for matching clothes or spotting ripe fruit.

You can make calls. Say Hey Meta, call and then a name from your contacts. The call goes through the glasses speakers and microphone.

You can send messages. Say Hey Meta, send a message to someone on WhatsApp, and dictate what you want to say.

You can play music. Say Hey Meta, play and then a song, artist, or playlist. It plays through the speakers in the temples.

You can take photos and video. Press the button on top of the right side of the frame for a photo. Hold it for video.

You can also ask any question. Hey Meta, what's the capital of France. Hey Meta, how do I cook pasta. It's like having a smart assistant on your face.

You also have a second voice assistant on your phone. On iPhone that's Siri, on Android that's Google Assistant. Use that for navigation, timers, reminders, and calendar. Both play through the glasses speakers.
