Seeing And Identifying With Your Glasses

Your glasses can describe scenes, identify objects, and recognize colors. Everything works by voice.

To describe a scene, say Hey Meta, what do you see, or Hey Meta, what's in front of me. The AI describes the room, the people, the furniture, or whatever is in view. Try it indoors and outdoors.

To identify an object, hold it in front of you and say Hey Meta, what is this. Or be more specific: Hey Meta, what brand is this. Hey Meta, is this shampoo or conditioner. This is useful for similar-looking products.

To identify colors, say Hey Meta, what color is this shirt. Or Hey Meta, describe what I'm wearing. This works for clothes, food, and household items. Natural daylight gives the most accurate colors.

You can ask follow-up questions. Start with Hey Meta, what do you see. Then ask: is there a door? Which side? Is anyone there? How many people? The AI remembers what it just told you, so follow-ups work naturally.

Outdoors, try Hey Meta, describe what's around me at intersections, bus stops, and shops. Or Hey Meta, read that sign when facing storefronts.

The AI works less well in dark environments, rain, or fog. Bright and clear conditions give the best results.

Want to try? Face something nearby and say: Hey Meta, what do you see.
